The Masked Singer is currently airing its fourth season, which has an all-new lineup of 12 celebrities who will remain anonymous as they perform while disguised in spectacular costumes.
The show is being hosted by Joel Dommett once more, and the judges, consisting of Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan, and Davina McCall, are tasked with determining which famous people are lurking behind the disguises that are being worn by the contestants.
If you’re following along at home, the chances are that you’ll be trying to figure out who the mystery stars are yourself, using the hints that have been provided, as well as the predictions that have been circulating on social media and those that have been made by the panel.
Keeping this information in mind, what hints have been dropped regarding Knitting, and who might they be…?
What clues have been given about Knitting on The Masked Singer?
- Has a Northern accent, could be from Lancaster?
- Had a sign saying, ‘Morning’ – are they a morning TV presenter?
- Someone creative or crafty
- 20-20 on the knitting needles on their feet
- A curtain tie – someone from the West End?
- A trained, professional singer
- ‘Knitting is easy, it’s the crossing of sticks, count all your stitches, there should be 26’
Several names have been thrown into the mix as possible candidates for Knitting, including…
Konnie Huq
Judge Jonathan reckoned the ‘crafty’ reference could be to Konnie Huq, a former Blue Peter presenter known for making things on the children’s TV show.
Could the presenter be behind the mask?
Samantha Barks
Samantha Barks has certainly got the voice, after playing Elsa on stage, so Rita believes her pipes could be behind Knitting.
With references in the clue package to a theatre performer, Samantha’s name proved popular with the audience.
The Masked Singer continues on Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
