The White Lotus star Leo Woodall couldn’t bring himself to speak after founding out this character Jack has sexual intercourse with his ‘uncle’ Quentin (Tom Hollander).
In scenes viewers couldn’t have predicted, Quentin and Jack have sex just before the closing credits in episode five.
Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya walks in on the pair going at it, although she escapes from their room unseen.
While viewers immediately took to social media to express their shock, 26-year-old Woodall also shared just how taken he was by the unpredictable twist.
‘When I found out I was doing it, I couldn’t speak for ten seconds then I thought, “that’s such a brilliant moment,”‘ he said.
‘They are weird to do but then you’re like, “let’s just embrace it.” We had intimacy co-ordinators and I felt very comfortable,’ he added to The Sunday Times Style Magazine.
After watching the risque scene unfold, fans were seriously questioning whether Jack and Quentin were actually related.
And it seems like the two actors were wondering the same thing.
‘Are we actually? We’re not, are we?’ Hollander asked his confused co-star.
‘I think no,’ Woodall replied. ‘I don’t know. I think you’re supposed to ask yourself all the questions at the end.’
Fans were seriously struggling to get their heads around the potential incest as they took to Twitter.
‘HOLD ON!!!!!! The nephew AND THE UNCLE?????’ one exclaimed, while another begged the question: ‘That’s not his real uncle then right???? RIGHTTTT?!!?!?’
The comedy-drama has been filled with a number of twists and turns following its season two release, as well as a lot of nudity.
In the first episode, a scene showed Cameron Babcock (Theo James) stripped down and completely starkers, however, James said the original take was scrapped because it was a little bit too crude.
