Alison Hammond was a far cry from her cheery self on This Morning as she debuted her music video for Stormzy’s latest single.
The music video for Toxic, starring rapper Fredo, was released on Thursday evening and saw the Big Brother superstar, 48, playing the part of a therapist as she reclined on a sofa opposite from Fredo – real name Marvin William Bailey.
The afternoon host got into character, wearing a black jacket over a black shirt and a leather skirt.
Staying true to her role, she was seen with a notebook and a pen, she asked the 29-year-old musician: ‘I want you to tell me what your toxic traits are?’
‘Listen I’ve just got too many man I don’t even know where to start,’ he replied.
Before the track resumed, Alison added: ‘Well just start at the beginning.’

Fellow celebrities and superfans were here for the surprise cameo, with TV personality Big Zuu tweeting: ‘Having @AlisonHammond in a Stormzy & Fredo vid is hilarious.’
Another added: ‘Alison Hammond in Stormzy & Fredo’s new music video?? Happy Thursday!’
Alison was rumoured to be a frontrunner for the role of This Morning successor after Philip Schofield‘s resignation earlier this month.

According to a source, ITV executives are considering game show ventures and light entertainment alternatives for the 48-year-old, who was revealed this year as the new Great British Bake Off presenter.
An insider shared: ‘ITV bosses want to cut a new deal with Alison. They are seriously worried about Holly talking to the BBC and fear she could be next.
‘She is incredibly popular and is perceived as very honest – which is worth a lot following Phillip’s admission that he lied to everyone.’
They added to the Mirror: ‘They want to lock her in, and there has even been talk of a golden handcuffs deal solely for entertainment shows with ITV.’
