Caroline Stanbury has disclosed the devastating consequences of a botched facelift, which her husband described as “one of the hardest moments” of his life.
The 47-year-old Real Housewives of Dubai actress posted a video on social media on Thursday as she was being transported home from the hospital following the treatment.
Caroline’s husband, footballer Sergio Carallo, 29, was seen in tears in the video as he detailed seeing her injuries on her return from surgery.
Caroline has previously stated that the treatment was an impulsive choice that had left her appearing like she’d been in a car collision.
After leaving the hospital, Sergio filmed a video in the couple’s car – he had tears in his eyes as he described it as ‘one of the hardest moments’ of his life.
‘This was probably one of the hardest moments of my life. Seeing the person that you love with all your heart suffering and in pain,’ he captioned the post.

The couple married in Mauritius in 2021 as a result of the United Arab Emirates prohibiting interfaith weddings at the time; the legislation was shortly modified.
Sergio, who played for Real Madrid before settling in Iceland, later characterised the encounter as “very difficult” and said he was “against it.”
He said: ‘As a husband I will always support her and be here for her and as much as I was against it, she really wanted to do it. So, I was there for her.’

Despite the early difficulties Caroline suffered following the operation, it looked that the effects were really good as the scars began to heal.
‘I am very proud of you and I just seeing how happy you are with the result, it makes me very happy,’ he added.
Caroline, a businesswoman and TV celebrity who appeared in Ladies of London in 2014, was seen walking about Los Angeles in a subsequent film.
In a subsequent video, she stated that she is starting to be able to move her face, albeit she admits to appearing like a “pumpkin patchwork doll.”
Caroline rose to prominence in 2022 following a fight with presenter Kate Garraway, who accused her of ‘flaunting’ her rich lifestyle.
On the series Inside Dubai, Kate said: ‘When you said, “Oh, everyone’s supposed to share a bath and whatever in the UK” – a lot of people are having to.’
She continued, criticising the London-born TV personality: ‘If you’re flaunting the fact you’ve got five baths then people feel offended by it.’
