The ‘Ultimate Social Experiment’ is scheduled to return to our screens in 2023 when the renowned reality TV programme Big Brother returns.
Beginning in the Netherlands in 1999, Big Brother eventually aired for over 11 series on Channel 4 and an additional eight series on Channel 5 before being cancelled in 2018.
The reality programme has returned, with a brand-new Big Brother house and a brand-new roster of competitors.
Many famous scenes from the original programme (and its celebrity spin-off) have lived on in television lore.
So, how much longer must we wait for Big Brother’s return?

What time is Big Brother on tonight?
Big Brother’s new series will premiere today (Sunday, October 2023) at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, and ITVX.
The popular reality programme will then run on ITV2 from Sunday through Friday at 9 p.m.

Spin-off Big Brother: Late & Live will also be available to fans straight after the show, six days a week, and the Big Brother: Live Stream will be available on ITVX.

What to expect from Big Brother 2023
The show’s producers promise that ‘Clever tasks, nail-biting nominations and live evictions will be back, with the public once again playing a crucial role, voting throughout the series and ultimately determining the winner, who will walk away with a life changing cash prize.’

We recently got a look at the brand-new Big Brother house, which includes the famed diary room, which may have the largest-ever recliner for competitors to sit on while spilling the tea on their fellow housemates.
Regarding the contestants, the show’s creators have promised a ‘A new cast of carefully selected housemates, from all walks of life’ – though quite what they have in store remains to be seen.
