This year’s I’m A Celebrity has already kicked off to a dramatic start with tensions rising in camp.
Late arrival Matt Hancock, who is now camp leader, has ruffled some feathers with his fellow campmates, as well as the general public which has seen him being repeatedly voted for each Bushtucker Trial.
Many viewers, however, have complained about this, vowing to stop watching if it continues to be ‘the Matt Hancock show’.
They may not need to worry about this much longer with eliminations on the horizon which will see the contestants whittled down until we crown a new King or Queen of the Jungle.
But when will the celebrities start getting kicked out of camp?
It may be sooner than you think.
When will the first I’m A Celebrity elimination take place?
The camp could be rocked by the first elimination this Friday (November 18), according to various sources.
‘Things can change quickly in camp, especially if someone was to quit, but at the moment we look all set for evictions to begin from Friday,’ an insider said.
‘Currently, Scarlette Douglas, Charlene, and Hancock are the favourites to go with bookmakers. If there is a second eviction over the weekend it means there would be two chances for viewers to get Hancock out this week.’
The source added to the Mirror: ‘So much has been made of him wanting to look human and how he told the group in camp that he wants our forgiveness.
‘We will find out soon if some people forgive him and if they are willing to vote to save him and keep his jungle journey going.’
Last year, the first elimination came even sooner on the second Wednesday of the series, which fell on December 6.
If this year follows that pattern, then we could see a celebrity get kicked out as soon as Wednesday, November 16.
The most recent edition of I’m A Celebrity to take place in Australia saw its first eviction on the second Friday night episode of the series.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
