Celebrity MasterChef is set to soon be back on our screens, and cooking doesn’t get tougher than this.
Gregg Wallace, 57, and John Torode, 56, will be back in the MasterChef kitchen once again to guide a crop of very nervous celebrity cooks through the hit series.
Last year’s series saw Paralympic champion Kadeena Cox crowned the winner, and she appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Just months later.
Now, there’s a brand-new set of stars who will be showing off their cooking skills.
Celebrity MasterChef will be back on Wednesday, August 10, at 8pm, with the first five celebrities taking on the challenge in the first heat of four.
It will then air every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as the competition quickly whittles down.
There will be 18 episodes in total which are sure to entertain fans over the coming weeks.
Who is taking part in Celebrity MasterChef 2022?
There will be four different heats, with 19 celebrities facing the heat of the MasterChef kitchen in total.
Heat one will see McFly’s Danny Jones, Love Island finalist Faye Winter, legendary ‘Chucklebrother’ Paul Chuckle, comedian Kae Kurd and media personality and former lawyer Nancy Dell’Olio compete.
Heat two features choirmaster Gareth Malone, boxer Chris Eubank, All Saints singer Mel Blatt, reality star MoJo, and Call The Midwife’s Cliff Parisi battle it out in the kitchen.
The Wire star Clarke Peters, Hollyoaks’ Richard Blackwood, former footballer Jimmy Bullard, Birds of a Feather actress Lesley Joseph, and presenter Kirsty Gallacher make up heat three.
The final heat sees Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas, Drag Race UK favourite Kitty Scott-Claus, Strictly professional Katya Jones and TV star Lisa Snowdon put on the MasterChef aprons.
But who will make it all the way and be crowned the Celebrity MasterChef champion 2022 by John and Gregg?
Celebrity MasterChef returns on Wednesday, August 10 to BBC One.
