Happy days The Mandalorian fans – season 3 is not only on the way, but will be arriving on Disney Plus in just a few short months.
In season 2 of The Book of Boba Fett, Din Djarin – aka The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) – was reunited with Grogu, after Baby Yoda was kidnapped by the conniving Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito).
With father and son now back together, Star Wars aficionados are undoubtedly raring to see what adventure they’ll embark on next, perhaps with Mando making his way to the planet Mandalore.
Could we see Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) make another appearance… or even a younger version of Han Solo (Harrison Ford)? Fans live in hope.
So when will the new episodes be dropping? Here’s what you need to know.
When is The Mandalorian season 3 coming out?
In news that is music to our ears, we finally know when the third season of The Mandalorian is dropping.

A statement released on social media read: ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu return March 1 only on @DisneyPlus.’
So, from Wednesday March 1, The Mandalorian will return. Can these next three months go a little bit faster please?
How many episodes could there be?
The first two seasons of The Mandalorian each had eight episodes, so it appears likely the third may follow in the same vein.
Each episode is called a ‘Chapter’, with the season two finale therefore being ‘Chapter 16.’

Who’s in the cast?
There’ll be plenty of familiar faces in the cast for The Mandalorian season three alongside Pedro and Giancarlo.
Carl Weathers will be returning as Greef Karga, alongside Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Emily Swallow as The Armorer and Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto.
Omid Abtahi will also be back as Dr Pershing, with Back To The Future star Christopher Lloyd and Saturday Night Live star Tim Meadows joining as newcomers to the cast.
The Mandalorian is available to watch on Disney Plus.
