When will Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women air during the World Cup 2022?

ITV’s daytime programmes Lorraine and This Morning have been taken off air this week in favour of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

The international tournament kicked off on Monday, with England scoring an impressive six goals to two in their first game against Iran, and Wales drawing one all in their match against the USA.

The competition is currently in the group stage and England will take on the USA in their next fixture, which is set to take place on Friday (November 25)

ITV has revised its television schedule for the duration of the World Cup to make way for its special football programming, with Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women all affected.

When will Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women air during the World Cup 2022?

As of today (November 22), Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women fans will notice changes to the ITV schedule.

Lorraine and This Morning have been taken off air until Friday (November 25) while the network prioritises its coverage of the international tournament.

Loose Women, however, will be back on screens on Thursday (November 24) and Friday.

Presenter Phillip Schofield revealed on Monday’s This Morning that he and Holly Willoughby would be off-screen until next week due to the schedule changes, explaining that the show will be back on Friday with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.

‘The World Cup will be on ITV for the next few mornings so Alison and Dermot will be back with you on Friday,’ he said. ‘We will see you next week!’

Co-presenter Holly Willoughby, added: ‘All that is left for us to say is good luck England, good luck, Wales, we’ll see you next week!’

It’s expected that all three ITV daytime programmes will be affected by the World Cup until the tournament’s final on Sunday, December 18.
