The Masked Singer has returned to our screens for its fourth season, following the victory of Natalie Imbruglia as a Panda last year.
And now, 12 more unknown celebs are donning elaborate costumes and breaking into song – but who are they?
Joel Dommett returns as host, with judges Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan, and Davina McCall attempting to guess which famous faces are hiding behind those clothes.
For those of us watching at home, we only have the clues offered before each performance and the panel’s guesses, as well as those making the rounds on social media.
With these in mind, what hints have been provided regarding Rubbish, and who may they be…?
What clues have been given about Rubbish on The Masked Singer?
- Someone quite colourful – all the bins are different colours
- The red bin is labelled ‘No. 1’
- ‘Cleaning up, that’s what I do best’ – could this hint to cleaning up awards?
- A member of the band Garbage?
- ‘We’re all solo’ – someone who maybe left a band for a solo career
- Performed Robbie Williams’ Let Me Entertain You
- ‘Inside of my bin is trash I’m compiling, as a person I’m happy buy you won’t see my smiling.’
Several names have been thrown into the mix as possible candidates for Rubbish including…
Dean Gaffney
Jonathon thought Rubbish could be ‘someone famous for cleaning up’, like EastEnders star Dean Gaffney.
This came after the judges agreed that they didn’t think the celebrity was a professional singer.
Sir Chris Hoy
Mo took the multi-coloured bins as an Olympics-related hint, before then guessing that Rubbish could be a professional cyclist like Sir Chris Hoy.
‘It’s a very good idea to hide his thighs, otherwise we’d all guess it,’ Davina quipped.
Mo went on to add Sir Bradley Wiggins onto his cycling-related guess list.
Ronnie Sullivan
Social media users have questioned whether Rubbish could be Snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan, after noticing that the performer pulled out a musical triangle before his clip ended, which could point to a triangle used to set up snooker balls.
Not only that, but snooker balls are just as colourful as the bins in the clip – could it be Ronnie?
The Masked Singer continues on Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
