Season 6 of Selling Sunset will likely feature multimillion-dollar residences, Louboutin heels, and lots of drama – with one major exception.
While fan favourites including Chrishell Stause, 41, and Mary Fitzgerald, 42, will return to The Oppenheim Group’s opulent Los Angeles headquarters in the Netflix series, Christine Quinn will not.
The mother-of-one, 34, announced her departure from the luxury property show at the end of season 5 amid squabbles with her fellow cast members.
All of this culminated in an explosive season finale in which Christine was accused of attempting to pay an Emma Hernan customer not to work with her.
Christine revealed a new business endeavour with her husband Christian Richard, while boss Jason Oppenheim stated she ‘no longer’ had a role at the company.
Christine has been quite vocal about the reality series since her shocking resignation, comparing her departure to Kim Cattrall’s character Samantha Jones from the Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That.
She told E! News: ‘It’s just my opinion. It’s like you watched the Sex and the City remake and you’re like, “Where the f**k is Samantha?” It just doesn’t work.’
Christine, who is reported to have a net worth of roughly $3 million (£2.4 million), announced she would not be watching season 6.
‘I have my girls that I absolutely love, and I’m so supportive of them,’ she said.
‘For me, I don’t think I’ll watch the show just because I want to know them for who they are and not what they’re edited to be,’ she told E!News.
But she hasn’t given up on reality TV entirely, as she appeared as Scorpio on The Masked Singer US in March.
Selling Sunset season 6 comes to Netflix on Friday.
