Despite the growing backlash against Netflix’s The Crown, Prince Harry admitted to watching it.
The Duke of Sussex, 38, revealed the revelations in his latest memoir Spare, which has sold 400,000 copies and has become the UK’s fastest-selling non-fiction book.
During his most recent interview with talk show host Stephen Colbert, the Prince was asked if he had seen the blockbuster show, which follows the Royal Family’s struggles and tribulations.
When Harry made the cheeky gesture of putting pen to paper, the Late Show audience burst out laughing.
Declaring his approval for the show, he said: ‘Yes I do actually, which by the way is another reason why it’s so important that history has it right.’
Stephen later questioned the monarch if he had seen the earlier or later seasons, to which Harry replied that he had seen both.

Since its debut in 2016, The Crown has focused on Queen Elizabeth and her extended family, as well as the world events that have occurred around them throughout the years.
The most recent fifth season, however, has sparked controversy by reproducing scandals such as the disintegration of King Charles’ (Dominic West) and Princess Diana’s (Elizabeth Debicki) marriage, as well as issues related to his affair with Camilla.
Last year, prominent industry executives lambasted the event, with former British Prime Minister Sir John Major calling it a “barrel-load of crap.”
Dame Judi Dench also requested a disclaimer after calling it a “inaccurate and unpleasant depiction of history,” to which executives agreed.
Filming for the sixth and final season is under begun, and has already been observed filming the final moments of Diana’s life when she and partner Dodi Fayed were being pursued by paparazzi in Paris.
According to recent reports, production has gone one step further and is presently filming scenes depicting ‘distressing’ incidents such as Diana being covered in blood in hospital and being buried in an open casket after her death.
The Crown is available to stream on Netflix.
