Zara McDermott has issued a warning to her Strictly Come Dancing professional partner ahead of their performance.
The reality star, 26, is already the first Love Island contestant to sign up for Strictly.
Zara joins Amanda Abbington, Angela Rippon, Les Dennis, and Adam Thomas in the cast, with rehearsals already started.
And, while Zara is ecstatic to be Strictly, she admits right away that she isn’t much of a dancer.

‘This is probably one of the biggest things I will ever do in my entire life.’
Giving an update on what the Strictly 2023 cast has been up to so far, she continued: ‘We had our first dance masterclass session the other day.
‘We all met each other. We even met the pros which was amazing. Seeing them dance, I was like… wow.’
Zara added that she’s ‘so excited’ and really wants to make her family ‘proud’.
‘I’m honestly that girl that’s too nervous to even dance in a nightclub at this point, let alone in front of millions of people. What am I doing?’, she giggled.
‘But, life is all about pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone, so here I am!
‘So, my next question is, who is my dance partner gonna be? They’ve got their work cut out!’, she warned.
Ever the supportive real-life partner, boyfriend Sam Thompson commented on her post: ‘Time to fly little goose ❤️❤️❤️’
‘Let’s gooo!’, commented Strictly pro Katya Jones.
Fellow contestant Bobby Brazier added: ‘Here we go 😅🕺🏼🪩💃🏻😂’
Zara’s video follows allegations that she is trying to become Strictly’s sexiest-ever participant, rivalling Ekin-Su Cülcülolu on Dancing On Ice.
Zara is claimed to have instructed the wardrobe crew and sought bold and daring clothing to assist her accomplish her goal.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Zara is absolutely stunning and puts in the work at the gym so she’s rightly proud of her body.
‘Plus she’s young, fun and into fashion so she’s told the team she’s up for anything they throw at her – the shorter and skimpier the better, really.’
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One and iPlayer later this year.
