Zara McDermott has been working so hard on her Strictly Come Dancing performance this week that half her toe has fallen off!
Last weekend, the former Love Island star, 26, made her professional dance debut with her pro partner, Graziano Di Prima, 29.
Zara announced that she’ll be facing the Quickstep on Saturday after collecting 19 points with their Cha Cha.
How’s the training going? Let’s just say the documentary maker has been hard at work.
In her latest Instagram Story Zara shared a pretty grim close-up of her injured toe and wrote: ‘I put this on my close friends but I think the world needs to see it.’
She said: ‘I just have to let you all know that half my toe has come off… that’s half my toe!’
Before the live show premiered, a terrified, wide-eyed Zara added: ‘Dancing live on national television is not something that I’ve thought too deeply into at this point because I think I will get overwhelmed.’
‘Craig is obviously the harshest judge, for sure,’ she went on. ‘And I’m definitely a bit scared of him and scared of what he’s going to say.
‘But if I get a three in week 1, I’m happy.’
Zara was cheered on by boyfriend Sam Thompson, 31, and former Towie star Pete Wicks, 35, who both wore handmade shirts with her face on them.
Despite Zara cheating on Sam once before and Sam being disloyal to past lovers, Sam has stated the lovebirds are immune to the so-called Strictly curse.
‘She was 22… so f***ing young,’ Sam said.
‘You know when you look at them and you go, “She ain’t going to do that again” I could see in her face.
“You can just tell when someone has a beautiful heart and a beautiful soul and just f***ed up,’ he added when speaking to The Mirror.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.15pm on BBC One.
