Zendaya‘s bodyguard once appeared on the ITV dating programme Take Me Out in search of love.
Joel Hunt is today the Euphoria star’s bodyguard, but only four years ago he was one of the singletons looking for love with the aid of Paddy McGuinness.
Joel, who is from Kettering, appeared in the third episode of the 11th series and demonstrated his physical condition by finishing an assault course in a couple of seconds.
Speaking in his VT, he teased: ‘I’m a real-life action man looking for an adventurous outdoorsy girl who does also like a cosy lie-in.
‘I’m proud to be part of one of the world’s elite fighting forces, the Royal Marines. As a Royal Marine, I have to be the best of the best, so I’m not in bad shape.’
Giving an insight into his day-to-day life, he added: ‘Ladies, I treat housework like a military operation, and my shirts are always crisp.
‘I might have a tough job, but I’d make the perfect house husband.’
Joel was spotted with Zendaya in London earlier this month, joining a long history of bodyguards who rose to prominence before protecting celebrities.

Zendaya was spotted looking smitten with her boyfriend Tom Holland while having a romantic stroll in a sun-drenched West London park last week.
They were photographed on a stroll with their small Schnauzer, Noon, with Zendaya pausing every now and again to serve her lover ice cream.
