What better time for a relationship hard launch than Christmas, when Alex Scott and Jess Glynne tempt fans with a tropical vacation?
Rumours of a relationship began months ago, but it appears the football expert and Hold My Hand hitmaker have made things official on a sun-soaked beach holiday.
The 39-year-old football legend had been discreetly dating Jess and keeping things low key, but it appears that they’re growing serious as Alex enthusiastically uploaded many videos of the two on vacation together.
This intimate trip comes after Jess, 34, made her first Instagram appearance in a group photo at the Sports Personality of the Year awards.
Alex tweeted a video of a private beach with what looked to be Jess sitting alone on a lounger – then mirrored in her sunnies – for their Christmas Day celebrations.
Alex raced towards the camera in a candy cane bikini, clinked glasses with her girlfriend, and referenced Home Alone, saying, ‘Merry Christmas, ye dirty beasts.’
She looked stunning in a black bikini and sunglasses on the beach on Christmas Eve, as she walked in the sun and couldn’t stop beaming at whoever was behind the camera.
Later, the football great tweeted a video of Jess, 34, pedalling beside her on their “Christmas Eve bike ride,” which the singer then shared on her own Instagram.
The couple appeared to be having a great time in the undisclosed location, soaking in the sun on a Christmas trip together.
‘Say you’re a tourist without saying you’re a tourist,’ Alex captioned a clip of Jess on a bike, rocking a casual look with a black cap, t shirt and shorts.
The two remained quite close to one other at the Attitude Awards in October, albeit they didn’t arrive together, which fueled the relationship suspicions.
They spoke with other celebrities as they sat at a table together as Alex collected the Sport Award on the night, which he described as a ‘pinch me moment.’
‘I know my value and the community I represent,’ she told Attitude, ‘to know I follow other sporting icons on that cover is a pinch-me moment.’
They previously attended the launch of David Beckham’s Netflix documentary but did not pose together on the red carpet.
Neither has acknowledged the connection, but their Christmas vacation appears to be exceedingly intimate, and the pair’s grins are difficult to disguise.
