Lisa Armstrong, Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife, has allegedly split from her electrician lover after three years.
Armstrong, 46, began seeing James Green, 40, in 2020 after being married to McPartlin from 2006 to 2018.
According to a source close to the pair, the separation happened ‘out of the blue’ when the Sky electrician allegedly took his belongings from her £4.5 million Thames-side house while she was abroad.
But a friend told The Daily Mail that the split had been amicable and that the couple would remain friends despite their three-year relationship coming to an end.
‘I don’t really know what has gone wrong. The two of them were only on a swanky holiday together in the Caribbean or somewhere about eight weeks ago,’ the source said.
‘He was with her one day, and he just wasn’t with her the next day. There was no inkling that anything was wrong.’
In recent weeks, the cosmetics artist has made no mention of Green on her Instagram profile, where she normally publishes photographs of the duo.
She last uploaded a photo of him on June 15, with a bunch of flowers.
Throughout their relationship, the couple has shared countless photos of their vacations, as well as receiving matching tattoos last year as a symbol of their love.
Lisa and James are thought to have begun dating in early 2020 and went public with their romance in August 2021.
She had been married to TV star McPartlin for 11 years and had been together for 23 years when the couple announced their divorce in 2018.
After meeting in 2018, the Britain’s Got Talent host married Anne-Marie Corbett, who was formerly his personal assistant, in August 2021.
During his wedding speech, he thanked his new bride for’saving his life’ and assisting him when he crashed his car while over the drink-drive limit in April 2018.
When their relationship became public, Lisa shared on Twitter: ‘Yeah My Friend and OUR Pa who I let into OUR home.??’
‘I purposely, throughout the whole of my divorce, have not said anything publicly,’ Ant told The Sun.
‘I’ve not been on social media or put any of my personal views out there. It’s not my style.
‘She can live her life how she wants to live her life and say what she wants but I prefer to keep that private.’
