Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have officially won Halloween this year, so you can all put your decorations away and try again in 2023.
The Terminator icon and Rocky legend met up for the purest day of pumpkin carving, sharing a snap of their finished creations on Instagram.
Of course, being big screen action heroes, they both swerved normal blades and opted to carve jack-o’-lanterns with survivor knives.
Arnie posted a wholesome picture of the pair posing proudly in front of their creations on his social media page, with the caption: ‘Happy Halloween @officialslystallone.’
Sly followed suit on his own profile, penning: ‘Myself and my great friend Arnold, @schwarzenegger spending time at his amazing office Carving Pumpkin Heads for Halloween with Survival Knives!!!
‘That’s what real ACTION guys do with their free time! Lol…’
Fans went wild for the epic moment and flooded their comments sections with praise.
An Instagram user said: ‘Rambo and Terminator Together. That’s gonna be one kick-ass Halloween!’
‘Happy Halloween to you legends, titans… Keep going,’ another replied.
‘This is the single best photo to ever be posted on Instagram. We should all just quit as there’s no topping this… ever,’ one enthused.
A follower couldn’t get over how unique their designs turned out, joking: ‘Love you guys, but that craftsmanship is garbage lol!’
‘Sly is good at many things. Carving pumpkins is not one of them,’ a fan agreed.
Many, many more took their opportunity to beg the pair for a ‘buddy comedy’.
Sly’s carving efforts come after he reunited with wife Jennifer Flavin, following a brief split this summer.
The couple, who celebrated 25 years of marriage just a few months ago, found their relationship under the microscope when the model filed for divorce.
Shortly after, it was speculated that the reason for their split was due to the Hollywood star’s new rottweiler, Dwight, though he denied this at the time.
However, Jennifer is thought to be a huge fan of his pup as TMZ reported that they are getting on very well at the family home in Hidden Hills.
