Simon Webbe and his wife, Ayshen, are expecting their second child in July.
The Blue singer shared the wonderful news with fans in a lovely video, telling them that’miracles do happen’.
In the Instagram post, which was also an advertisement for Clearblue, they wrote: ‘Miracles do happen, and we’re living proof 🥺🤍
‘With the help of Clearblue, we’re happy to announce that our family is expanding! 💫.’
Simon, 45, and Ayshen, 43, who already have a two-year-old daughter named Cyan, spoke openly about their efforts to extend their family.
‘After enduring heartbreaking losses and navigating the challenges of IVF, we’re overjoyed to share that we’re expecting our second child together!’
Simon also has a daughter, Alanah Jones, from a previous relationship.
‘This journey hasn’t been easy, but every struggle has led us to this moment of pure happiness – by some miracle, we were actually able to conceive naturally!’
They continued: ‘Our little miracle, due in July 2024, is already filling our hearts with love and hope.
‘Cyan is absolutely over the moon with this news, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this blessing. Here’s to new beginnings and the incredible journey ahead as a family.’
Along with the moving commentary came a video of their journey back to parenthood.
In one clip, Ayshen dressed in a hospital gown wipes away tears while telling the camera: ‘Hopefully, I’ll be pregnant in two weeks.’
They also proudly showed the positive pregnancy test to the camera, and Cayan could be heard joining her parents in a celebratory: ‘Hip hip hooray’.
The pair married in 2018 with a grandiose wedding at the Corinthia Hotel in London.
They had previously discussed their troubles in conceiving. Before Cyan was born, they experienced two miscarriages and a failed IVF round. They endured another miscarriage and an unsuccessful frozen egg transfer when trying for a second child.
