Katie Price has lowered the cost of her OnlyFans subscription in a daring financial decision following a six-figure overdue tax debt.
Fans of the 45-year-old former beauty model may now get a membership at half the price: $7.50 (£5.89), down from $14.99 (£11.77) each month.
The discounted offer is valid for the next 31 days, ending on March 26, and comes after she was declared bankrupt for the second time over an amount owing to HMRC.
The mother-of-five, who was declared bankrupt in 2019, owes over £760,000 in outstanding tax bills and has ongoing legal troubles.
Katie was missing from the court on the £761,994.05 debt, but subsequently said that she had been’signed off’ because she was ‘dealing with significant matters’ in her life.
She also insisted to the Daily Mail podcast Straight to The Comments that she pays tax, adding: ‘Don’t think I sit here and don’t pay stuff, because I do.’
‘You know, there’s all different kinds of bankruptcies. I think they just use the word bankruptcy but nobody knows the ins and outs of everything and trust me I don’t get away with stuff either, like you can’t,’ Katie explained.
‘Tax you can’t ever run away from, you have to pay.’
On Monday at a short hearing at London’s Rolls Building, judge Sebastian Prentis declared Katie bankrupt.
‘There is a substantial debt due from Ms Price to HMRC, and therefore I will make a bankruptcy order,’ he said.
Prentis added that the amount ‘derives from self-assessments from the years 2020-2021 and 2021-22’ and includes income tax, VAT, surcharges, and interest.
The case was heard days after she was fined £880 for driving without a licence or insurance in Northamptonshire in August of last year, with £620 in costs and a £352 victim surcharge.
Earlier this year, she received a £400 fine for speeding and driving with an invalid licence.
In February, a different High Court judge ordered her to pay 40% of her OnlyFans revenue to trustees for the next three years in a separate dispute over unpaid bills.
She was warned at the hearing that she will face financial issues in April.
Katie has been out and about with new beau JJ Slater, hitting the red carpet in London for Celebrity Ex on the Beach after declaring bankruptcy.
Katie acknowledged their connection and took jabs at her ex-partners, prompting the new pair to smile for the camera.
