Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari have been having a great time on vacation – and putting on as much PDA as possible.
The couple spent the previous week soaking in the rays while the Toxic hitmaker paid a visit to her sister Jamie Lynn, who was working.
Jamie, 32, has been filming for the Paramount+ film revival Zoey 102. His relationship with Britney has had its ups and downs in recent years.
Britney, 41, was recorded dancing on a boat in a hot pink bikini, much to the joy of her other half, in a video she shared of her vacation antics.
Sam, 29, gave her buttocks a playful slap as she wiggled her bum to Ed Sheeran’s tracks.
He was observed giggling before strolling away with a cigar while Brit continued to boogie.
The video, which she shared on Instagram, also contained additional clips from their boat excursion, turning us all jealous as she dove into the sparkling seas and sipped drinks.
Despite her prior public feud with her sister Jamie, Britney expressed her affection for her in the caption.
‘It was nice to visit my sister on set last week !!!’, she wrote.
‘I’ve missed you guys so much !!! Loyal girls stay home but it’s so nice to visit family 😌 !!!’
She also mentioned that this was her first holiday with Sam in over a year.
‘I’m so so blessed and l’m gonna play the queen of hearts now 😜 !!! Normally that’s Spanish right mamma 😏 !!! Should I do French from now on ??? Latin ??? Portuguese or German ??? Nahh I dunno 🤷🏼♀️ because I don’t speak English 😂😂😂 !!!’, she concluded.
Jamie didn’t present in the video Britney shared, but she isn’t the only relative to mend fences, as Britney recently declared a reunion with her mother, Lynne Spears.
The pop sensation said that her mother had paid her a visit for the first time in three years.
Writing on Instagram in May, Britney penned: ‘My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years … it’s been such a long time … with family there’s always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!!’
The Gimme More singer complemented the tweet with a childhood snapshot of herself dressed as a ballerina in a pink tutu.
Implying they’re on much better terms now, she added: ‘After being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!! I love 💕 you so much !!! Psss… I’m so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years !!! Let’s go shopping afterwards !!!’
Lynne is also credited for helping her two daughters reestablish communication.
‘Lynne is urging Britney to make peace with her sister, Jamie Lynn, now,’ a source recently told the Daily Mail.
‘They are both leaning towards a yes. Lynne knows that Britney does miss her sister, and she told her that the feeling is obviously mutual.’
However, according to the insider, Britney was afraid to make the first move.
‘Britney still feels that Jamie Lynn is the one who messed up, and if they are going to meet, she would need to come to her and not vice versa.’
It’s no secret that Britney’s relationship with her family has been strained since 2008, when she was placed under a 13-year conservatorship.
Just last year, Britney’s sister Jamie attacked her in her memoir with a slew of charges, prompting Britney to unfollow her on Instagram and blame her for attempting to “sell a book at [her] expense.”
