Before they go to Hawaii, Britney Spears won’t get to meet her teenage boys.
After Britney consented to her ex’s desire to move, it was revealed last month that 17-year-old Sean Preston and 16-year-old Jayden James will be leaving LA with their father Kevin Federline.
Sean and Jayden are the children of Britney, 41, and Kevin, 45, whose two-year marriage ended in divorce in 2007.
According to recent sources, the major relocation will occur on Tuesday, but despite father Kevin’s ‘encouraging’ advice for the teenagers to visit their mother before leaving California, they don’t have any plans to do so.
TMZ adds that Kevin – whose wife Victoria Prince is heading with them to Hawaii – ‘wasn’t going to force them to sit down with their mum if they weren’t up for it’.
Additionally, according to the source, Kevin and Victoria want to rent a house while hunting for a permanent residence.
It was said last month that Kevin gave his ex-wife’s solicitors a deadline to approve his relocation plans. He allegedly told them they had days to concur with his request to relocate his two boys or he would be taking the case to a judge in court.
The Hit Me Baby One More Time actor’s lawyer Mathew Rosengart received many requests for permission by letter or email, according to remarks made by Kevin’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan to TMZ.
The lawyer stated that Kevin was having trouble making plans without the popstar’s approval, including renting a property for his family, since he planned to move to Hawaii with his sons and wife Victoria on August 1.
They moved because Victoria reportedly obtained a job offer from the athletic department of a nearby public institution.
Soon after, Mark confirmed to People magazine that Britney ‘consented’ to the move.
‘It’s an opportunity for Kevin and his wife, and the boys are ready to get away from the L.A. microscope,’ he added.
