Chrissy Teigen skipped the Grammys to spend more time with her newborn daughter.
The 37-year-old US actress gave birth to a daughter on January 13 with musician husband John Legend, expanding their family to include son Miles, four, and daughter Luna, six.
After the terrible death of their newborn boy Jack in 2020, Chrissy has been happily embracing new motherhood again, keeping fans informed with frequent heartwarming images of the family welcoming baby Esti.
Dad John was nominated for three Grammy Awards on Sunday for his involvement in DJ Khaled’s song God Did.
While Chrissy, who was still recuperating from delivery, had planned to attend the prestigious awards, she opted at the last minute to support him from afar, despite having been fitted for a dress for the event.
With only hours ahead the big event, the runway diva turned to Instagram on Sunday, posting a snapshot of herself cuddling her newborn girl, who was sleeping on her chest and smiling at the camera.

She wrote: ‘Happy grammy day!! had a dress fitting, looked around and realized ….what the hell am I trying to prove here. I cannot get up lol.’
Right on cue, supportive husband John arrived in the comment section to tell his wife: ‘Just sitting there fine AF,’ a comment which garnered almost 12,000 likes.
Chrissy went on to share photos from her and John at last year’s Grammys, saying that while she wouldn’t be there this year she was ‘cheering on @johnlegend’s 3 noms and performance (sic).’
‘One year ago. Loved this whole look so much!!’
She joked: ‘Body looking a liiiiittle different today but worth it.’
Esti could be seen napping on her chest in her next tale as they rested together, with John going on to perform alongside DJ Khaled, Jay-Z, and others for their nominated song.
Chrissy revealed her pregnancy again in August 2022, two years after she and John lost their baby, Jack.
They announced their new birth in an Instagram photo that showed Esti wrapped up and being spoiled by her elder brothers.
Chrissy, the host of Lip Sync Battle, had an abortion in October 2020 to save her life since her baby had ‘no chance’ of survival, after earlier believing she’d miscarried.
When she revealed her pregnancy, she wrote on social media: ‘The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.’
Sharing photos of her bump, she added: ‘1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.
‘I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!’
