Jeremy Clarkson’s restaurant ideas are greeted with hostility by the Oxford council in the season two trailer for Clarkson’s Farm.
The second instalment of the highly anticipated docuseries will feature the introduction of new animals and crops, Jeremy’s confrontations with the local council as he seeks to expand his business with a restaurant, and Kaleb Cooper once again saving the day.
It will also look at how the present economy is affecting British farmers.
In the official teaser, the broadcaster discusses his hopes to extend his business with a restaurant, but as his neon sign announces that there is no’vegetarian food,’ it appears like the Grand Tour host may be in for a fight.
‘Everything is ready to go,’ he says.
‘I just need West Oxfordshire District Council to say “good idea.”‘
The camera then switches to a spokesman who calls Jeremy’s behaviour plan “shameful.”
Ouch!
‘It shows a “give me an inch and I’ll take a mile” mentality,’ he adds to a concerned Jeremy.
Jeremy’s hate for badgers is shown later in the trailer when he wonders whether they can ‘be whacked with a hammer.’
The 62-year-old is accompanied by faithful sidekick Kaleb, 24, who rapidly became a fan favourite among viewers as he assisted the former Top Gear host in keeping things running on the ‘Diddly Squat’ farm.
The two actors have been frequently informing fans on what to anticipate on their own social media sites, but viewers won’t have to wait long because the episodes will be released this Friday [February 10].
While Clarkson’s Farm has already been renewed for a third season, Amazon has allegedly fired the host because he made derogatory remarks about Meghan Markle in a piece.
Variety reports that the streaming service will not collaborate with the TV personality beyond the seasons of The Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm that have already been commissioned.
Clarkson’s Farm season 2 is airing from February 10 on Prime Video.
