Christine McGuinness has opened up about her living situation with Paddy McGuinness following their breakup last year.
The ITV The Games actor, 35, and former Take Me Out host Paddy, 48, divorced in July of last year but continue to live together at the family home with their children.
They have three children together: Felicity, six, and twins Leo and Penelope, nine, who she just disclosed are unaware of their parents’ divorce.
Christine expressed her desire for the arrangement to ‘continue’ in this manner in order to give stability for her children, all of whom are autistic, as is Christine herself.
Now, the model has opened up even more about her personal life, revealing that she and Paddy are still ‘close’ after 15 years together.
‘We are very close, we’re family no matter what.
‘It’s amazing he’s there if and when I need him and the same the other way around,’ she told The Mirror.
Adding that Paddy is still ‘the first person I’d call’ if she needed help, she said their separation ‘is what it is’ but ‘we are family, we are still living together.
‘It’s not a long-term plan but for now, that really works.’
The interview comes as Christine launches a new campaign called Ambitious about Autism, which tells the tales of 12 autistic females and non-binary persons, as well as their favourite pieces of apparel.
Christine, who was diagnosed with autism after her three children, has been open about her experience, particularly in the new documentary Christine McGuinness: Unmasking My Autism.
Paddy was full of love for his ex and the new documentary, heading to Instagram to congratulate her.
‘Very proud of Christine for making this new documentary highlighting Autism, particularly in women,’ he penned.
‘It’ll be a massive help to our daughters in years to come along with our little lad.’
