Eminem celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, and fans are still amazed at how old the world-famous rapper has become.
The celebrity, true name Marshall Mathers, was born in 1972 and turned 51 this week, but many people are having difficulty wrapping their brains around the figure, believing he is much younger.
X, formerly known as Twitter, was ablaze on October 17 with birthday messages dedicated to the Without Me hitmaker, with one person writing: ‘Happy birthday to Slim Shady, you wouldn’t say this guy is turning 51 years [old].’
Another social media user exclaimed: ‘Eminem is really 51 years old?!!’ while someone else, equally stunned, echoed, ‘Eminem turned 51, how crazy.’
Other flabbergasted comments included: ‘I can’t believe Eminem turned 51’ and ‘My god Eminem is turning 51.’
Although the A-lister has yet to acknowledge the milestone on social media, his buddy and longtime collaborator 50 Cent produced a special birthday tribute for Marshall.
Alongside a photo of himself and Eminem, 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to the living legend @Eminem love you to death man, God bless wishing you many more.’
Eminem has a rather secluded existence these days, however he was spotted earlier this month with his daughter Hailie Jade at a Detroit Lions game.
The rapper was spotted with Hailie and her fiancé, Evan McClintock, at Ford Field.
Eminem took to Instagram to share a snapshot of himself happily posing in front of a large crowd as he celebrated his team’s victory.

He cheered on his squad while hooking up with Hailie in the stands in a video from the day out.
Eminem has a daughter, Hailie, with ex-wife Kim Scott, and he also adopted her former relationship’s daughter, Stevie Laine.

In the early 2000s, he formally adopted Kim’s niece, Alaina, when her mother suffered with drug addiction.
Eminem proudly accompanied Alaina down the aisle when she married her husband Matt Moeller in Detroit in June of this year, with her sister serving as a bridesmaid.
After five years of dating, Hailie announced her engagement to Evan in February, the family had a lot more to celebrate.
‘Casual weekend recap…,’ she wrote on Instagram at the time, showing the moment her soon-to-be-husband got down on one knee.
‘2.4.23 I love you @evanmcclintock11.’
They celebrated their engagement at a fancy party at the end of April, with their loved ones in attendance.
