Gemma Collins needed immediate medical assistance after shattering her eardrum while on vacation in Israel.
Forget Towie; that was more of an owie! as the former The Only Way Is Essex star kept fans up to date on her health issues.
Gemma, as GC, took to social media to share a photo of herself with the doctor who rescued her.
‘Thank you so much to this wonderful doctor in Israel who helped me today when my eardrum burst!!! It could only happen to me this doctor was wonderful,’ she gushed, adding: ‘Everyone in Haifa has been so kind and welcoming I am now off to Tel Aviv.’
I’m glad to hear it…
Aside from the painful perforation, the reality TV star has been having a wonderful time in the region with her fiancé Rami Hawash, 48, and his five-year-old son, Tristan.
Indeed, Gemma, 41, was overcome with emotion as she documented her visit to the holy site of Bethlehem.
‘I’ve got tears rolling down my face. This is the most breathtaking, unreal experience of my life. The feeling here, you cannot describe it. It is just overwhelming with emotion. I hope everyone gets to experience this once in their lifetime,’ she began.
‘Everyone is queuing to see where Jesus was born… your hairs stand on end, it’s just – I’m breathless. It’s so beautiful.’
In a later post, she shared another snapshot from her trip, writing: ‘BETHELHEM I can’t believe I’ve been so unbelievably lucky to have been where baby Jesus was born and touch the spot I am totally blown away and looking forward to my spiritual journeys in 2023.’

Meanwhile, fans have been saying ‘Gay-men’ following the announcement that Gemma will make her first UK festival appearance at Mighty Hoopla this summer.
‘Move over Beyonce, GC’s in town! I’m going to be honest guys, this is going to be so special for me because I’ve never been to a festival before. This is going to be my first experience at a festival, so the gloves are off, the sequins are on, and I’m going to have some mighty fun,’ she teased.
Gay icon Gemma joins the likes of Kelly Rowland, Years & Years, Beverley Knight and Aqua on the line-up at Brockwell Park on June 3 and 4.
