Joe Wicks has made the exciting announcement that he will open his very own in-person gym, where followers of his workouts will be able to participate in fitness sessions with him.
The fitness expert, better known as the Body Coach, broke the news of his temporary pop-up on Wednesday’s This Morning, where he stated that it’s been in the works for a ‘long time’.
During the epidemic, the internet celebrity – who has over 2.8 million YouTube followers – became a national hit because to his PE with Joe workshops, which encouraged people of all ages to get up and move while they were stuck at home.
The 37-year-old received an MBE in the 2020 Birthday Honours, and that same year, he raised almost £2 million for Children In Need by participating in a 24-hour workout.
Speaking about his new venture on the ITV programme, he said: ‘I’ve been planning this for a long time and I can finally announce I’m actually opening a Body Coach gym in London.
‘It’s a pop-up, it’s called Body Coach Studios, and for three days in January, on the 20th, 21st and 22nd, we’re going to have a pop-up studio where you can come along and do a live workout with me in person.’

Joe said that he would be there in person for HIIT sessions, with Lucy in charge of yoga and Lee in charge of sculpting workshops.
He also called Deaf trainer India a “amazing” component of the team.
‘So [we] really want to make it accessible to anyone, any fitness level, and also families can come along as well and do some workouts,’ he stated.
Tickets to attend Joe’s gym are going on sale this Friday on his website, thebodycoach.com.
Not only that, but the money will also be donated to a worthy cause.
Joe added that, while he generally raises funds for Children In Need, this time he wanted to assist local sports teams in need of financial assistance.
Sports teams will be able to apply for grants, with £1,000 eventually going to 15 different teams to help with things like equipment and costs.
While Joe already sponsors some local football teams in Surrey, he wanted to provide other types of sports teams the opportunity to receive support as well.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
