Christie Brinkley is officially ageing backwards, as she celebrated a significant birthday in style.
Throughout her decades-long career, the supermodel has been on innumerable magazine covers, including campaigns for Chanel, Revlon, and CoverGirl.
Taking to Instagram, she demonstrated that she could still strike a pose like a pro for a short photoshoot to commemorate her 70th birthday.
In the photos, she wore a white sports bra and black leggings, teamed with a black cardigan and sneakers, while smiling for the camera.
‘Looking in the mirror on my 70th Birthday and what do I see, I’m finally happy with the person looking back back at me,’ she captioned the upload.
‘I’m no longer critical and demanding, now I’m grateful and understanding. I’ve put this body thru it, I’ve broken every bone.

‘In tiny miracles I’m all healed, in my heart and soul I’m home. It’s taken 70 years to get here, in tears and joy I’ve found my happy.
‘So now I’m going to end this poem, before I get too sappy! Happy Birthday Indeed! [sic].’

Fans couldn’t get enough of the photos and hurried to leave birthday wishes in the comments section below, claiming she had never looked younger.

Christine has discussed how she is feeling ahead of her wedding, saying that she is still open to the chance of finding love.
The design star has gone down the aisle four times, first married artist Jean-François Allaux in 1973 and then Billy Joel in 1985.
Before splitting up in 1994, the couple gave birth to their daughter Alexa Ray Joel together.
She subsequently moved on with real estate billionaire Richard Taubman at the end of that year, but they split up in 1995, after having son Jack together.
She married architect Peter Halsey Cook in 1996 and had a daughter, Sailer Lee Brinkley Cook.

It wasn’t to last, as they split up in 2006, with their divorce finalised in 2008.
In a chat ahead of her birthday, she vowed that she is still ‘open’ to a relationship, but there ‘just doesn’t seem to be anybody out there’.
‘At the same time I am pretty comfortable with my life the way it is, so, que será, será,’ she told People Magazine.
‘I always said my whole life that I think that you have to be happy alone so that you get with a man for the right reasons and you’re not clinging to him because you need to.’
Christie added that being surrounded by her loved ones is ‘the height of happiness’.
