Maya Jama and Stormzy have put the internet into a frenzy this week, fueling suspicions that their relationship has resurfaced by vacationing together in Greece.
And, after photos of them holding hands appeared to corroborate what we’d all been hoping and praying for, it appears like 2023 may not be the worst year for celebrity romances after all.
Maya, 29, and Stormzy, 30, divorced in 2019 but have been supportive of one another ever since.
After the much-loved couple was seen at events together in recent months, social media followers noticed striking parallels in their Greek vacations.
Maya and Stormzy both posted photos from their vacations on Instagram and TikTok, and it didn’t take long for followers to understand they were more than just buddies.

Maya and Stormzy have been relaxing in the heat at a £2,700-per-night resort.
A source previously told The Sun: ‘Stormzy is mad for Maya and has spent huge amounts of money taking her on a luxury holiday.
‘He chartered a private jet to Greece then they flew into the resort by helicopter.
‘It’s all very romantic.’
The couple is said to be staying at the opulent Amanzoe and being ‘waited on hand and foot.’
We can safely say we have vacation envy after seeing the resort’s facilities in all their grandeur in Maya and Stormzy’s postings.
They have an infinity pool surrounded by lush foliage and have been enjoying drinks under the Grecian heat.

Maya’s reps, on the other hand, declined to comment.
She has, however, been quite busy on Instagram with hot bikini images, while Stormzy took dips in the pool in a video undoubtedly taken by her.
The Vossi Bop musician has previously talked publicly about treating Maya with ‘disrespect,’ admitting that he’s ‘never loved anybody’ as much as he loves her.
Even on his most recent album, This Is What I Mean, the song Firebabe is supposed to be about her.
Chatting to Louis Theroux in an old BBC documentary, Stormzy shared: ‘It was, like, “Ok, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you.”
‘That’s probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn’t it? There were other things in terms of mistakes I’d made. I didn’t do what a man should do to fully appreciate, love and care for his woman.’
When did Maya Jama and Stormzy date?
Maya and Stormzy initially met in January 2015, when both were still quite popular.
Unfortunately, they split up after four years and amid adultery claims involving Stormzy and Jorja Smith, which he refuted.
Maya’s team confirmed the sad news by saying: ‘Maya has moved out of their home in South West London.
‘The decision isn’t one she has come to lightly, but ultimately the relationship has come to an end.
‘She wants to focus on her TV and radio career for now.’
Maya subsequently removed any references to Stormzy from her social media accounts.
However, as previously said, they have continued to lavish admiration on one another, with Stormzy even stating in 2020 that he wants to have children with Maya – who was previously engaged to basketballer Ben Simmons.
Maya discussed the last month of her romance with Stormzy in her Vogue cover interview earlier this summer.
‘None of us really knew the level of importance it held to a certain group of people, us being together,’ she said.
‘We were both super ambitious. We were both from similar upbringings and we were both just little grafters that have made something good of ourselves. It was lovely when it was lovely, and then you move.’
