On Sunday, Joe Wicks left his social media fans ‘weeping’ as he welcomed a baby girl called Maddy into the world.The 38-year-old fitness model shared Maddy’s mother’s ‘amazing tale’ on Instagram.
Maddy’s mother chose to join one of Joe’s fitness programmes in order to decrease her BMI and get eligible for IVF.
Despite sadly suffering a miscarriage, Maddy’s mum shared her delight over her little rainbow baby, writing in a Facebook post shared by Joe: ‘Finally our rainbow baby is here! I look forward to restarting the workouts when baby lets me, for now I’m just enjoying newborn cuddles! If at all possible please pass this on to Joe.
‘I’d love him to know how grateful I am for the lifestyle changes he helped me make that brought us our much longed for bundle of joy!’
Welcoming Maddy into the world, Joe reshared the post, adding: ‘What a wonderful story. This put a huge smile on my face. Welcome to the world beautiful Maddy. Sending you all lots of love.’
Plenty of Joe’s followers said the story had made them emotional, with one writing on Instagram: ‘I saw this post and totally and utterly welled up. This is what the Body Coach is about! Absolute love and joy and I couldn’t be here for it more.’
Another added: ‘OMG actually crying! How wonderful.’

Joe is a devoted father who lives with his wife Rosie and his three children, Indie, Marley, four, and Leni, 11 months.
When he kept us all fit during lockdown, the nation’s PE instructor became a national treasure.
In July, the actor stated that he’d like to raise a little army of children with Rosie.
Asked on social media: ‘Do you want more children?’ Joe revealed, ‘Our dream is 6 kids so we are halfway there.’
