The first campmate has been eliminated from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2023.
It’s been a turbulent series so far, to say the least, with celebrities leaving camp even before the phone lines opened for spectators to vote.
Both MasterChef star Grace Dent and Britney Spears‘ younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears left the programme on’medical reasons,’ according to reports.
But now we have our first official departure of the series, with Frankie Dettori becoming the first to cross the bridge to be interviewed by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
It came down to the Italian jockey, 52, and YouTuber Nella Rose, 26, in the end, but the people decided it was time for sportsmen Frankie to leave.
Frankie and Tony Bellew arrived late, which meant that his stay in camp was even shorter than others in the bush.

Frankie confessed in his departure interview that he was ‘disappointed’ to be thrown out, but he was proud of how he overcame his concerns throughout the Bushtucker Trials.
He also predicted Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson to win.
Viewers were not surprised to learn that Frankie was leaving camp, given that several had previously accused the show of not giving him enough coverage.
‘I have to admit though there were points where I forgot that Frankie was in camp. Didn’t help by his lack of airtime. He had a good go at trials though when he was given them. I wish he was given more to do in camp’, one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
‘Poor Frankie didn’t quite get the airtime, but he’s not a loud attention seeker or overbearing, he was just being himself and seemed quite relaxed/chilled out’, another wrote.
‘Aww knew it would be Frankie because he didn’t get much screen time’, another predicted.
Ant and Dec launched the poll yesterday night (Saturday, December 2).
‘The big news is that tomorrow night, one of them will be heading for home,’ Dec informed viewers.
‘So, for the first time this series you’re voting to keep your favourites in the camp. The person with the fewest votes will leave tomorrow.’
I don’t think we seen enough of Frankie. #imaceleb

It’s a shame Frankie wasn’t given more air time. I think he would have been great if in there longer #ImACeleb

The Geordie duo said that the voting was now open and will end during Sunday night’s broadcast, before to the unveiling of the first evicted talent.
Following Frankie’s removal in 10th place, there are still a number of notable people in the camp.
Josie Gibson, Marvin Humes, and Frankie’s pick Sam are all expected to advance to the final next week, with Danielle Harold, Fred Sirieix, and Nick Pickard all remaining.
Ant and Dec have reopened the public voting, with the second formal elimination taking place on Monday night.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
