Kaley Cuoco has spoken up about parenting and her “thriving” baby, Matilda, who was born just weeks ago.
The Big Bang Theory star, 37, gave birth to her first child with partner Tom Pelphrey, 40, at the end of March and has been sharing photos of the baby on social media ever since.
In a new interview about the child, she joked that she had become the mom who revealed everything her kid did.
Appearing on the red carpet at the An Evening From the Heart fundraiser for the John Ritter Foundation in LA on Thursday, the Emmy-nominee said: ‘She’s amazing. She’s five weeks old and she was laughing today, full on laughing and I was like, “This kid is hysterical!”
‘I’ve become that mom who posts every freaking thing. She does something, and I’m like, “I have to post that!”’
Kaley tackled the next stage of her life differently, avoiding parenting books before giving birth – while her boyfriend joked that he had studied everything.
She went on to say that she had no regrets about her decision, telling Entertainment Tonight: ‘I still haven’t read anything. We are in a really natural situation. We’re just going with the current. She tells us exactly what she wants, and it’s one of three options.
‘She’s really just awesome, and we’re loving it. We’re loving being at home with her. We didn’t read anything and it’s working for us.’
Following a tumultuous few months, The Flight Attendant star and the Ozark actor confirmed their pregnancy news on Instagram in October.
Kaley announced Matilda’s birth on social media earlier this year, along with the first images of the baby.
‘3-30-23. Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle,’ she wrote at the time.
‘Thank you to the doctors, nurses , family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief.
‘@tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.’
