Brooklyn Beckham has spoken about how he grew interested in cooking and how it helped him escape from his issues.
In recent years, the oldest son of football legend David Beckham, 48, and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, 49, has dabbled with the notion of pursuing a career as a chef and frequently publishes videos of his cooking successes on his Instagram page.
Brooklyn, 24, has recently stated that he enjoys cooking because it helps him deal with life’s ups and downs.
In an Instagram video made in conjunction with the Michelin Guide, he described how he enjoys cooking because it ‘takes [his] mind off whatever that’s going on.’
‘One of the many things I enjoy about chefs is that they are so artistic, so hardworking, and they are continually trying to master their profession every day, every minute of every hour,’ he stated.
Brooklyn also recounted some of his earliest food memories, including eating pie and mash at the pub with his family after his father, David, played football.

He said: ‘I grew up in London. I always used to go to the pub, and we used to go after my dad played football. I didn’t drink, because I was too young, but I used to have the pie and mash and fish and chips in the newspaper with vinegar.’
Brooklyn, on the other hand, stated that his tastes had evolved as he grew older, and he now enjoys Japanese cuisine with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
He added: ‘Me and my wife, we are obsessed, our favourite food is Japanese, the way the Japanese treat food, they are so careful and so precise.’

Brooklyn recently came up about his Instagram cooking videos, saying that he is not a chef and only wants to share his passion for food with his fans.
‘I am not a chef, I am a cook,’ Brooklyn clarified in response to fan comments on a video of him preparing pizza. I just enjoy cooking and learning from the ground up, so I’m going to be learning something new every day.’
It comes after Brooklyn received backlash for a number of his culinary masterpieces, including a recent video in which he was roasted owing to an unfortunate hole in his trousers.
Other films in which the celebrity was chastised included dropping a wine cork in a dish’s sauce and leaving out the alfredo when cooking an alfredo sauce.
