Katherine Ryan has stated that she issued ‘waivers’ to other parents outlining the conditions for her teenage daughter’s Halloween party.
Before her 14-year-old daughter Violet’s pals could be invited to her home party, the 40-year-old comic requested that her ‘good conduct form’ be signed.
Katherine, the adoring mother, has also hired a security service to do bag searches, and she will be present.
MailOnline reports that the star said she ‘compiled the party document’ because of ‘modern day liabilities’ and that she also wanted to protect her ‘property and children’.
Katherine, who shares a nine-month-old daughter and two-year-old son with her partner Bobby Kootstra, explained: ‘I am allowing the Halloween party […] I don’t know how you navigate having teenagers and keeping them safe and keeping them respectful, and keeping your property from being vandalised.’
She added: ‘But basically, I gave Violet a number of children she was allowed to invite. She sent these invites out to more children than that.

‘I also prepared a document. I just think in this day and age, with liabilities and having all these kids in my house, I want to send a really clear message to them, when they’re 14, what the expectations are in my house.’
Katherine then noted: ‘And also, I think it’s a good message to the parents to know that if I expect this form signed by a parent with the parent’s phone number, then they know that I’m not the kind of mum that allows drinking or vaping or anything else.
‘Those parents are going to go “oh, if this mum’s making me sign this, I feel safe sending my kid there”.’
Katherine spends her time in London with Bobby and her three children when she is not on stage or making us laugh on TV.
Her wonderfully modern living area features extra-high ceilings, a sophisticated kitchen, a staircase with glass bannisters and flowery wallpaper, and a large garden space, so it’s no surprise she’s wary of Violet’s party!
