Kelly Osbourne has talked openly about feeling under ‘pressure’ to lose weight after having her first child last year.
Kelly, 38, and her Slipknot boyfriend Sid Wilson welcomed their son Sidney into the world in 2022, and the doting mother has now stated that she wanted to’see how far she could go’ on her weight loss journey.
Kelly admitted to going a touch crazy after her postpartum time.
‘I was like, “Well, I lost all the baby weight. Let’s see how far I can go with it”,’ she explained.
She continued on Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay’s Scheananigans podcast, ‘And then went a bit too far.’
Just days before, the mother-of-one admitted to feeling under pressure to lose weight after welcoming Sidney.
‘I’m going to be honest, I felt the pressure of after having the baby to lose the baby weight,’ she told E! News earlier this month.
‘It became my mission. I was obsessed with it because I didn’t even want to get brought into the conversation, I just wanted to be left alone.’
She has previously stated on social media that she “hid” during her pregnancy out of fear of being “fat shamed.”
When Kelly uploaded a lovely image of herself wearing a rhinestone dress on Instagram, an admirer replied stating she ‘looked different’ and questioned whether she had ‘had work done’.
Kelly was eager to explain why she didn’t post much throughout her pregnancy to the social media user.
‘Did you have work done on your neck, face? You look quite different. Also I never saw a pregnant picture of you, did you hire a surrogate to carry your child? Thank you for your transparency,’ the follower in question penned.
Squashing the rumours, she replied: ‘It’s just from weight loss. Honestly I’ve only had Botox.
‘There are no pictures of me pregnant because I hid for 9 months because I did not want to get fat-shamed.’
