Kerry Katona has landed an intriguing, undoubtedly profitable last-minute gig.
The 43-year-old former Atomic Kitten member has performed on stage before, most recently in a pantomime of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with her daughter Lilly-Sue.
Kerry will now play a role in a Robin Hood production after another actor steps away for ‘personal reasons’.
Anton Benson Productions announced the casting change on social media, stating that reality TV legend Louie Spence was no longer able to participate, with Kerry stepping over.
They wrote: ‘Due to personal reasons, Louie Spence has withdrawn from the production of Robin Hood.
‘We are delighted to announce that the role of Sheriff of Nottingham will now be shared between our friends KERRY KATONA and DIVINA DE CAMPO who have kindly agreed to step in last minute.’

The company added: ‘Kerry will play the role in Redditch, Northampton, Ellesmere Port and Mansfield. Divina will play the role in Clacton, Grimsby and Doncaster.
‘We are sure you will join us in giving them a warm welcome to the cast of Robin Hood.’
Fans who had previously seen Kerry perform were eager to offer favourable comments.
Instagram user thatt21life wrote: ‘Kerry was wonderful last night! To step in at short notice with no rehearsal time is not for the faint hearted! We was entertaining, witty and down right hilarious. X x’
‘Kerry was amazing yesterday, it was the most chaotic panto . All the cast were amazing and if something went wrong there reaction was so quick’, echoed emychiphall.
‘Gutted that Louie has withdrawn but really hope he is ok, have seen Kerry Katona perform before and she is amazing. Can’t wait to see the show on Thursday evening in Northampton xx’, wrote ellena_anastasiades.
Louie, a Pineapple Dance Studios star, has not publicly said why he had to withdraw from the panto.
He did, however, post to his Instagram Story on the morning of his 55th birthday, shortly after the news.
Filming from his bed, he displayed a gorgeous arrangement of red roses sent to him by his husband.
Kerry’s latest panto part comes following claims that she is on her way to the United States after earning a role in a Hollywood film.
The Celebrity Big Brother star will make her debut in a romantic comedy after earning a billionaire through OnlyFans.
Kerry will play Nina Bennet, the owner of a beauty shop, in the road trip film Finding Forever, which begins production in the spring.
The I’m A Celebrity star has signed with talent agency Donia Youssef of Wonder Talent Management, and she has stated that she is training her ‘butt off’ and wants to be ‘taken seriously as an actor’.
‘Kerry is getting buff and training her butt off in prep – this is an intense and emotional six-week intensive course and she is putting blood, sweat and tears into it,’ a source told The Sun.
Kerry’s new profession as a prominent content creator on membership site OnlyFans follows her financial turnaround from bankruptcy.
