Molly-Mae Hague has revealed a difficult health condition for the first time during a skiing holiday in France.
The 24-year-old influencer went on a luxurious ski holiday to Courchevel with her boxer fiancé Tommy Fury, also 24, their 14-month-old daughter Bambi, and some friends.
She’s also posted some lovely Instagram photos from their vacation, dressed in expensive skiing gear, including Celine ski goggles, but she’s now revealed that her pleasure of the trip was hampered by a health ailment.
The Love Island star explained that she had been in severe discomfort whenever she put on her ski boots and skis due to having ‘collapsed arches’.
While seated on a button lift taking her up to lunch at the chalet, Molly shared: ‘The only really frustrating thing about my skiing is that because I have collapsed arches in my feet… I’ve got completely flat feet, I’m talking slabs of meat, there is not an arch at any point of my foot whatsoever.’
She continued: ‘I find that my feet hurt so much when I ski because of my collapsed arches.
‘I don’t know what it is, but next time I come away I am definitely going to get some ski boots made for my feet because, honestly, I feel like I would ski so much better if I wasn’t in so much pain.’
According to the NHS, having flat feet or ‘fallen arches’ is common, not an indication of anything dangerous, and will not create issues or prevent you from participating in any activity, including sports.
However, it might create ankle discomfort or soreness in the bottom and arch of your foot, and your shoes will most likely wear out faster.
Pain relievers, stretches and exercise, and special insoles in shoes can all assist support your feet, as can wearing broad, comfy shoes with a low heel.
Molly stated in the vlog that she and Tommy intend to make their group skiing vacation an annual event, but she is open to exploring new destinations.
‘I did think Courchevel was beautiful but there wasn’t anything that blew me away to justify the price of it, because it is astronomical – probably one of the most expensive places I’ve been to.’
She recently announced that she and Tommy are planning to leave their luxury property, after spending £4,000,000 on the sale and additional funds on renovations.
The couple moved into their multi-million pound Cheshire property, which has six bedrooms, a gym, and a large yard, only two years ago.

However, Molly acknowledged in a recent Instagram Q&A that they are thinking about moving to fresh pastures.
Responding to a fan question which asked ‘is moving house on the cards?’ Molly responded: ‘One word… potentially.’
Molly did not provide any information or explain why they are ‘possibly’ considering leaving the area they had called home since before their daughter was born.
The pair relocated to the home in March 2022, following a terrible theft at their Manchester flat earlier that year.
A gang stormed in and stole £800,000 worth of luxury items while the couple was at a party in London, prompting them to employ more security.
