Kerry Katona has disclosed that her nine-year-old daughter DJ is in the hospital.
On Tuesday, the Atomic Kitten singer, 43, turned to Instagram to share a snapshot of herself and her kid at A&E.
Kerry, who shared DJ with her late partner, rugby star George Kay, claimed her daughter had been’really sick’.
‘Poor baby daughter second day,’ she remarked on social media.
‘Soooo Dj has been really poorly had to leave rehearsals and stay in hospital with her…
‘But she’s on mend and hopefully will be home soon.’
The reality television personality also has four additional children.
She has two kids, Molly, 21, and Lilly, 20, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, as well as Heidi, 16, and Max, 15, with ex-husband Mark Croft.
Kerry recently reported that DJ has been having ‘fainting spells’.
Writing in her OK! column last month, the I’m A Celebrity star shared that she wanted to get things checked out, with a neurosurgeon currently looking at the results.
‘I have health anxiety when it comes to DJ,’ Kerry confessed. ‘I worry about her, especially recently as she’s had a few fainting spells.’
Kerry added: ‘We took her for an MRI and the doctor found something.
‘We’re waiting as her results have been sent to a neurosurgeon, but the doctor seems to think she’s alright.
‘He said that lots of us could have what she has but we’ve just not had MRIs.’
Kerry is engaged to fiancé Ryan Mahoney, who is about to take the momentous step of adopting DJ.
While her marriage to the fitness instructor isn’t occurring ‘anytime soon,’ Kerry has convinced DJ that Ryan is very much a part of their family and that DJ, who doesn’t remember her actual father, wants to call Ryan “dad.”
