Kim Kardashian being a football parent wasn’t on our list of predictions for the year, but if fans are true, it may be a hint that she’s on her way to becoming a WAG (wives and girlfriends for the uninitiated).
So far, the Skims creator has spent her summer travelling across Europe on a football tour with her seven-year-old son Saint West and a number of his pals, as the children delightfully achieve their dreams of witnessing the sport live in action.
They were recently in the spotlight when Lionel Messi made his debut for David Beckham’s club Inter Miami, before Saint met some of the world’s greatest footballers, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, in Japan.
Kim, 42, is well on her way to earning her stripes as a dedicated football mother.
However, suspicion is growing that Kim’s exposure to the world’s best football players will automatically benefit her love life, given she is now unmarried after divorcing Kanye West and ending her brief affair with Pete Davidson.
In recent episodes of her family’s reality show The Kardashians, the mother-of-four stated that she intended to remain unmarried for the time being, but did indicate that she was secretly dating a mysterious man named ‘Fred.’
‘The one thing I learned from my last situation was the media made me feel like I was in a real serious relationship like so quickly. I just want to sneak around a little bit, like there’s nothing wrong with wanting to sneak,’ she said in one confessional.
So, even if Kim does wind up dating a player, we won’t know for a long, but fans may speculate in the meanwhile.

When Kim watched Arsenal play in London
Kim flew to the United Kingdom in March 2023 to begin Saint’s European football tour, which began with seeing his beloved team, Arsenal, play in the Europa League at the Emirates Stadium. Saint’s goal of seeing his favourite team play live may have come true, but Kim was clearly enthralled by the action on the field, pointing and making animated expressions throughout the game.
Hours later, Saint received a FaceTime call from Arsenal player Bukayo Saka, who promised to present him with an autographed shirt the next time he was in town.
When Kim and Kendall Jenner watched PSG
Kim and her family flew to Paris only days after watching Arsenal to watch Paris Saint-Germain take on Rennie. This time, she was accompanied by her younger model sister Kendall Jenner, and the group appeared to have a good time, with Kendall enjoying the game with a bottle of wine.
Saint West meets Lionel Messi
Kim gained bonus credit for arranging Saint’s encounter with Messi, who was making his Inter Miami debut in the sunny state of Florida.
‘Best day of their life,’ she captioned a video on her Instagram, showing the athlete pausing to snap photographs with the child and his friend.
In the next video, the couple can be seen joyously jumping after meeting the footballer and watching as pink pyrotechnics light the sky over the DRV PNK stadium.
Kim paused for an interview with ESPN during the star-studded game, which was also attended by the Beckhams, LeBron James, and Serena Williams, and spoke proudly about how she was supporting young Saint’s football aspirations this summer.
Kim flies Saint to Japan for PSG game
Another foreign city, another week. Kim prepared another fantastic meet-and-greet for Saint and his best friend after travelling into Japan after making news with her attendance at the Inter Miami game.
Former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo taught the kids his iconic celebratory motion, and PSG superstar Neymar demonstrated some fantastic dancing routines.
Of course, the kids received autographed football jerseys from various stars, so Kim has earned her stripes as a true football parent, and she might well be the coolest one around.
Will she catch the eye of another single football player? Only time will tell.
