Laura Anderson’s life as a new mother hasn’t started off well.
This week, the reality personality, 34, and actor Gary Lucy, 41, announced the birth of their first child together, a baby girl called Bonnie.
Bonnie was born on September 2, and Laura claimed that the delivery was anything from easy since the new parents were terrified.
The influencer, who met Gary on Celebs Go Dating, displayed some terrible bruises on her arm in an update to her 1.5 million followers.
‘The kankles have almost subsided. But these bruises, ouch’, Laura wrote. ‘The glamorous life of post-partum.’
‘I’ll hold off sharing the other symptoms’, she joked.
In her message, the Love Island actress also stated that she is eager to see her pals but that there are “not enough hours in the day.”
Her family, it appears, has yet to visit, since she noted sadly that ‘everyone has Covid.’
In terms of other parts of her health, Laura said that she has mastitis ‘already’ and was getting antibiotics to address it.
Mastitis is an infection-related inflammation of the breast tissue.
‘P.S: Don’t be a hero and get that epidural’, Laura added, giving an insight into her labour. ‘Do not wait until you’re 9cm.’
Laura uploaded a really nice video chronicling her baby girl’s first few moments in the world when she announced the arrival of Bonnie.

Gary remained at her side during the delivery, encouraging her by caressing her head before snuggling up to the infant in her blanket.

‘My Mummy & Daddy are sooooo happy and in love with me, this is our first week together🌹

She signed off: ‘Please don’t question My Mummy & Daddy on their relationship- This.. is all about me 👶🏼🤩’
It’s no secret that Laura and Gary’s relationship has been rocky, particularly throughout her pregnancy.
Laura and Gary revealed that they were expecting a child in February.
‘Our hearts are full, Baby Lucy due Summer ’23,’ the couple captioned the image.
Gary, who already has four children with his ex-wife Natasha Grey, declared shortly after the announcement that he and Laura were no longer together.
Laura later stated that the ex-couple were ‘not on good terms’ after their split, with a source claiming she was’so unhappy’ with Gary for revealing they were having a baby girl ‘without her consent.’
