Liam Payne got some new tattoos following his outstanding performance at Soccer Aid over the weekend.
The former One Directioner announced he’d had a rose tattooed onto his neck and a giant scorpion carved onto his right hip in a new, eye-poppingly ripped shot of his torso.
Plenty of other tattoos on 29-year-old Liam’s body could be seen in his latest mirror picture, including letters across his chest and a knight’s helmet on his right arm, however it’s unlikely many of his 25.6 million Instagram followers could take their gaze away from those rock-hard abs.
Liam made Soccer Aid watchers giggle last weekend when he couldn’t stop posing in the locker room.
The father of one played for England with former Lioness Jill Scott, who served as captain, and players Tom Hiddleston, Sir Mo Farah, and Jack Wilshere.
Fans were eager to point out how swiftly Liam pulled his shirt off in the changing room at halftime when Harry Redknapp was making a motivating speech.
Noticing a very shirtless Liam standing behind Harry, one person tweeted: ‘”Going live in 3,2…” Liam Payne “hang on while I take my shirt off.”’
Another quipped: ‘Liam Payne just conveniently standing in prime slot for a shot of his torso’ while someone else said, ‘Enjoying this year of Soccer Aid, where it’s basically Tom Hiddleston running the ball out of play or Liam Payne constantly smouldering/posing.’
On Sunday, the World XI squad defeated the England team for the sixth year in a row at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium.
World XI FC was led by Usain Bolt, who scored the game’s first goal, and included Love Island‘s Tommy Fury and comedian Lee Mack.
The actual winner, though, was charity, with Soccer Aid for United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) raising more than £14,619,005 at the end of the game.
