Love Island star Paige Thorne has spoken out about her split from Adam Collard for the first time, while also revealing she’s back in touch with ex Jacques O’Neill.
It was recently revealed that the romance between Paige, 24, and Adam, 26, was over just months after they left the Love Island villa together, amid allegations that he cheated on the paramedic.
Photos emerged of fitness trainer Adam with his arm around another woman inside a McDonald’s after a night out. He was then pictured partying in Ibiza looking particularly close to another girl at a pool party.
Paige quietly removed all traces of Adam from her social media but has now confirmed the break-up for the first time.
‘I’m single – living my best life. No I’m kidding, it’s been a really s**t time,’ Paige said on the Saving Grace podcast.
She claimed that Adam was ‘not friends’ with the woman he was seen with in Ibiza and even alleged that there are more clips from the party.
‘It’s not just that video,’ she said, adding: ‘There are other videos that people don’t know about of different people, on the same night, in different locations.
‘At first I was like, nah do you know what? It’s just an arm. I get that people get flirty. There’s nothing to it. If I’m in the club and a guy puts his arm around me, is it cheating? No.
‘And then these other videos came out and I’m just like, ooh. Ooh, I can’t justify this.’
According to Paige, these unseen videos show Adam and other women in ‘VIP toilets. Keep it classy, babe.’
She shut down any chance of a reconciliation with Adam, stating: ‘Absolutely not. I mean, would you? Would you get back with someone like that? The videos speak for themselves. The ones everyone has seen and the ones only I’ve seen.’
However, it seems the olive branch may be more likely between Paige and her villa love Jacques. They were coupled up on the ITV2 dating show but Paige moved on with Adam after Jacques quit the show to focus on his mental health.
Sharing an update on their relationship, Paige said: ‘There has been slight contact. No contact with the lips. Let’s not forget how this boy done me in Casa [Amor].
‘Obviously we had a vibe in there. But he done me over. Dickhead. Fine. But we’re just going to see where things go. I am in zero rush to be with a man because men are trash.’
Adam recently said his piece about their split and spoke highly of his ex.
‘We’re not together,’ he told The Sun at the National Television Awards on Thursday evening. ‘Things happen. But I mean she is a great girl.’
