Mark Wahlberg went back in time last week when he visited his home state of Massachusetts and the business where he got his first job.
The 51-year-old American actor, formerly known as Marky Mark, has featured in several films and garnered numerous awards.
Mark grew raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and eventually met his wife, model Rhea Surman, with whom he has four children.
In the early 1990s, he had a brief pop music career as a member of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, whose track Good Vibrations reached number one in the United States.
After a four-decade career, Mark is now worth an estimated $400 million and has opted to relocate to Las Vegas.
Now, the award-winning actor has returned to the scene of his first employment, a Stop & Shop grocery in Massachusetts.
Mark recounted to his 22 million Instagram followers in a video that he used to wrap packages for clients for $3.65 per hour.
The post, which was captioned ‘Where it all started – my first job!’, featured footage of Mark packing groceries for shoppers once again.
‘Right here, this is where the whole hustle started,’ he said, standing in front of the Stop and Shop. ‘1988, I was working at this store.’

He did, however, gesture to an off-camera spot and mention that the Stop and Shop had relocated to the opposite side of the road after he departed.
‘I’m gonna see if I can my old job back,’ he said, before heading into the store to help out, meeting a few of his old colleagues along the way.
When he noticed that a bag of oranges was too heavy for one paper bag, he volunteered to double up and welcomed star-struck customers with large embraces.
Earlier this year, the Entourage star went on the Today Show with a cross on his forehead to address religion in the film business.
He said: ‘It’s a balance. I don’t want to jam it down anybody’s throat, but I do not deny my faith. That’s an even bigger sin.’
