Four years after calling it quits in their relationship, reality stars Megan Barton-Hanson and Demi Sims have hinted that they may be getting back together.
Megan, from Love Island, is 28 years old, and Demi, from TOWIE, is 26 years old. In a recent video, Demi is seen cuddling up to Megan, and she says that “it would be amazing” if she could convince Megan to go back with her.
Demi wrote over the video, “Convincing your ex to go back with you,” and captioned the movie with “haha xxx.” She then uploaded the video to TikTok and shared it with her 233,900 followers.
While singing along to one of Jacob Jeffries’ songs, Demi said to Megan that the collaboration “would be so wonderful, it would be so cool.”
One of Demi’s fans commented on the photo, saying, “I need this to happen,” to which Demi responded with two emojis indicating that she was implying something.
The first one was a face with a winking mouth and the second one was a winking face with its tongue sticking out.

When Megan and Demi stopped following one other on Instagram in 2019, the rumours that the two had ended their relationship were first begun to circulate online.
After becoming friendly with one other on the E4 dating programme, the two, who had met each other on Celebs Go Dating, made headlines that year with their blossoming romance, which sent tongues churning.
When they kissed each other at the ITV Summer Party, it gave the impression that they had made their relationship official.
Speaking to Closer about Demi at the time, Megan said: ‘I think Demi and I are really similar. We bonded because she was the first girl I could really talk to about liking girls, and she’s in the public eye too, so she gets it. We’re good friends, but we’ll see how it goes romantically.

‘I’d been looking at dating like a chore when it should be fun and exciting. So now I’m enjoying it.’
The former couple proved less than a year after going their separate ways that there was no bad blood between them, with Megan even saying Demi had ‘done a lot for her’.
Catching up in 2020 on Megan’s You Come First podcast, the former Love Islander told Demi: ‘So Demi we met on Celebs Go Dating but I don’t think I’ve ever said this to you… I actually watched you on TOWIE.
‘I saw you on TOWIE and you were so inspiring and it was amazing how open you were about your sexuality.
‘I remember watching it with my mum, and obviously I knew I was a bit into girls at the point, so I loved that you represented that. There must have been so many girls that slid in your DMs after asking for advice about coming out and stuff.’
Demi said in response: ‘Yeah well funnily enough that you say that. You’ve never actually told me that the first time you saw me was on TOWIE but I had a few inklings because the first time we spoke, you slid into my DMs about something that happened on TOWIE so that does make sense now.’
She added: ‘Yeah I had a lot of DMs at first and I think it’s because I was one of the first bisexual girls to be on a reality TV series in the UK.’
Megan then sweetly noted: ‘I feel like I never really said, but you’ve done loads for me as well even though you’re younger than me and I know you on a personal level now, it was just amazing to see you be so open and bold about your sexuality on such mainstream TV, so thank you I guess. Thanks for doing that for us.’
