Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are considering abandoning their lavish Manchester property, which they spent millions of pounds on just two years ago.
The influencer, 24, rose to prominence alongside boyfriend Tommy, 24, after meeting and falling in love on the 2019 season of Love Island.
Five years later, the couple is engaged and has a one-year-old daughter named Bambi, and their careers in show business and sports have continued to flourish.
Molly, who is frequently seen on private aircraft, on extravagant vacations, and updating admirers from their spacious property, has now announced that they want to leave their magnificent home despite having spent £4,000,000 on the sale and an additional large sum repairing it.
Just two years ago, the couple moved into their multi-million pound Cheshire property, which has six bedrooms, a gym, and a large garden.
However, Molly acknowledged in a recent Instagram Q&A that they are thinking about moving to fresh pastures.
Responding to a fan question which asked ‘is moving house on the cards?’ Molly responded: ‘One word… potentially.’
Molly did not provide any information or explain why they are ‘possibly’ considering leaving the area they had called home since before their daughter was born.
The pair relocated to the home in March 2022, following a terrible theft at their Manchester flat earlier that year.
A gang stormed in and stole £800,000 worth of luxury items while the couple was at a party in London, prompting them to employ more security.
Molly claimed at the time that their ideal home was ready to move in and would not require any big repairs, but they planned to make some ‘tweaks’.
By adjustments, she meant constructing a personal home gym and breaking down walls to create ensuites in the bedrooms, converting one bedroom into a personal dressing room, and creating a separate shooting studio on the top floor to store camera equipment and produce her popular vlogs.
She also said in a video that she was ‘working with an interior designer’ to shape her dream home ‘totally from scratch,’ buying all new furniture and personalising the space.
This featured a full-length mirror costing £8,000, which she claimed was ‘finally’ hers after previous locations they had lived proven unsuitable because it had ‘never fitted through any of the stairwells [or] doorways’.
However, the opulent home has not been without its challenges, with many leaks discovered just months after moving in.
Molly had shared a video of the chaos caused by the first leak, telling her followers at the time: ‘You know what I said about teething issues… just a minor one today, ceiling’s coming down.’
She added: ‘Honestly, I just heard a load of dripping noises, walked into our formal living room area and ceiling’s coming down.
‘The roof is saturated, the ceiling of the living room is saturated, the carpet is saturated. So, that’s nice.
‘To be fair, I think we’re only having a few issues because obviously we’re ripping rooms out, pipes are being knocked, water systems are being messed around with, so I’ll keep you updated.’
Just a few weeks later, she revealed another leak had affected the property, telling followers ‘have to laugh or you might cry’.
