Molly-Mae Hague continues to be candid about the reality of life as a new mother, stating that ‘nothing fit’ her from a recent shopping excursion.
The former Love Island star, 23, welcomed her baby girl Bambi in January with partner Tommy Fury, also 23, and has since kept her followers updated on her path into parenting.
On Wednesday, she made a brief visit to Manchester’s Trafford Centre with her sister Zoe, posting a snapshot of them eating a fast burrito bowl for lunch on her Instagram stories.
Her following photo indicated that they had stopped by a clothes store, where Molly had purchased various items, only to find out that she couldn’t keep any of them.
The PrettyLittleThing creative director displayed a large suitcase of clothing on the floor under her dresser while sitting against the wall in warm grey pyjamas in a shot from her stunning walk-in wardrobe.
‘Just tried everything that I got in Zara but nothing fitted…’ she wrote in the caption, next to a melting smiley face emoji.
She candidly added: ‘The struggle of not knowing what size to buy after you have a baba is real.’
Molly was eager to get back into shape following Bambi’s birth, and she went to the gym for the first time little over three weeks later.
‘First day back moving!’ captioned the self-tan entrepreneur’s video of herself walking on the stair climber.
At the end of the video, she also mentioned how her figure had transformed while she was pregnant: ‘These films made me notice how much my bum [peach emoji] has tripled in size from having Bambi… some severe toning needed but I’ll get there in time!’.
Earlier this week, the influencer made an emotional return to YouTube, admitting that she has been ‘overwhelmed’ every day since becoming a mother.
‘I feel like I’m questioning everything I’m saying, I’m thinking, “Oh my God, what are people going to think if I say that?” because I’m trying to be so transparent and so real about the last two months of my life – but I’m also really scared to do that,’ Molly explained.
She also stated that being a parent had ‘came easily’ to her and that she was ‘proud of the mom I am to [Bambi]’ – but admitted that her physical health had been tested by’severe constipation,’ which she described as ‘harder than labor,’ leaving her imploring her sister to call an ambulance.
Molly just enjoyed her first Mother’s Day as a parent, discovering one entire room in their house adorned from floor to ceiling with balloons and images.
She was also surprised with vase after vase of roses and a large placard that read: ‘Happy Mother’s Day Mama’ – fairly remarkable work for a newborn infant.
