Olly Murs has posted a touching video of his and his wife Amelia’s emotions to learning she is pregnant.
The Voice coach, 39, announced earlier this week that he was having his first child with wife, fitness model Amelia, 30.
The couple, who married earlier this year, announced the impending arrival of their child with a charming Instagram photo.
She was standing against a wall, smiling, with Olly standing next to her, pointing to her expanding belly and holding an ultrasound.
He wrote in the caption, ‘Baby Murs due 2024.’
Olly has now revealed a video clip of the moment he found out he was going to be a father, as well as breaking the news with family and friends, a few days later.
In the first footage, the performer is discreetly videotaped in his kitchen after being instructed to close his eyes and raise his hands.
His wife is then seen presenting her positive pregnancy test in his hands, with Olly initially perplexed by what is occurring and needing some time to process the news.
The footage then shifts to their loved ones at a movie theatre.
As Olly films he yells out: ‘Amelia’s pregnant.’
Several of people being videotaped, clearly taken aback, shout ‘WTF’ before rushing to hug the newlyweds.
The couple then informs additional loved ones via video call by passing an ultrasound shot to numerous others, who are all deceived into thinking they were posing for photos before being informed the joyful news.
The video, which he captioned ‘It wasn’t just our hearts that skipped a beat…’, then ends with a clip of their baby’s ultrasound, with the heartbeat heard beating loudly.
When the couple announced their impending birth on Thursday night, they were inundated with messages of encouragement from well-wishers.
Emma Willis wrote: ‘Oh Olly!!! I’m so so happy for you both. Sending you all lots of love.
Davina McCall wrote ‘yayyyyy’ with a series of love hearts, while Ronan Keating shared a clapping hands emoji.
The pair met on social media in 2019 and married this past summer on Essex’s Osea Island.
