Bobby Brazier of Strictly Come Dancing was in tears as he received messages of support from his loved ones – but there was one notable missing.
The Freddie Slater actress, 20, and her Australian professional partner Dianne Buswell, 34, advanced to the semi-finals, where they performed two dances: a quickstep and a paso doble.
Dianne surprised Bobby with video greetings from his loved ones before of their second routine, giving him a much-needed lift as the competition heats up.
Dad Jeff Brazier was, of course, included, as he told Bobby: ‘The best Christmas gift you can give me is getting to the final.’
‘Good luck, Bobby!’, he added sweetly.
Bobby was also emotional listening to a video from his uncle, who joked: ‘Shake those hips into the final, come on!’

‘Good luck, Bobby! Love you!’, added his ‘nanny G’.
After a message from his three godmothers, Bobby blew a kiss at the screen and said proudly: ‘These are my women.’
‘You forget how many people are rooting for you,’ Bobby added with a smile.
‘Watching that was inspiring, motivating, lovely, heartwarming… now I feel really motivated to go and reach the final because this is about all of us, not just Dianne and I.’
While Bobby received several letters of support from family and friends, one individual was noticeably absent.
Bobby didn’t receive a video message from his grandmother, who has reportedly been ‘banned’ from the Strictly studios.

According to reports, the 66-year-old mother of the late Jade Goody was unable to acquire tickets to see her grandson play.
This comes during a fight with her father, TV personality Jeff.
According to sources, Jackiey and Jeff, 44, who is also the father of her other grandchild, Freddie, have not been able to reconcile following a falling out some years ago.
However, she is believed to be keen to put their turbulent past behind her and cheer Bobby on if he makes it to the final.
Speaking about Jeff and Jackiey’s ‘feud’, a friend told MailOnline: ‘Jeff and Jackiey haven’t got on for a long time and it has been hard.
‘It has meant that Jackiey hasn’t been able to be in the audience to watch Bobby, things are just too bad between her and his father. He and his brother Freddie are her only grandchildren and she adores them, there is nothing she would love more than to be there to watch him live.
‘Jeff has been a brilliant father to those boys and has tried to navigate through many difficulties. It is a very, very sad situation. There is nothing Jackiey would like more than to go to the final but there is very little chance of that.’

In tonight’s semi-final, Bobby and Dianne received glowing praise from the panel, with him even being named the ‘King of Ballroom’ by Shirley Ballas following their quickstep.
The routine received 38 points, including two tens from Shirley and Anton Du Beke.
Bobby and Dianne received 35 points for their aggressive paso to Run Boy Run by Woodkid.
They are now competing for one of three spots in the final next week, where either Bobby, Layton Williams, Ellie Leach, or Annabel Croft will win the trophy.
Strictly Come Dancing’s semi-final results air tomorrow on BBC One and iPlayer.
