What a state of mind.
The Perfect singer, 43, has acknowledged that being locked up has its advantages since it enabled her voice to rest from singing.
However, it took a toll on her body because she was already inactive after undergoing procedures on her neck and hip – and then she started spending her time in the kitchen.
‘Having breaks is excellent for my voice,’ she told Variety. This is not beneficial for the body.

‘Especially during Covid — I gained 36lbs. All I did was make sourdough and then eat the sourdough. And then I had not just the hip surgery but double disc replacement in my neck.’
In fact, going through Pink’s Instagram – where she has 9.2 million followers – demonstrates how committed she grew in her bread-making endeavours, which she constantly posted.
Pink, actual name Alecia Beth Moore Hart, feels stronger and better than ever ahead of her next global tour in support of Trustfall, her ninth studio album.

She added: ‘Now I’m the bionic woman. I’ve lost those 36Ibs, and I am stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. And I’m ready to go, and I’m ready to get the hell out of here. I’ve been home way too long.’
Pink’s performances are notoriously dynamic, with the singer usually seen soaring about stages on a harness, so we have little doubt her upcoming tour will be spectacular.
Pink, who has two children, Willow, 11, and Jameson, 6, with husband Carey Hart, isn’t one to rest on her laurels.
She is determined to keep ‘pushing it’ to be better and believes that growing older should not be used as an excuse to slack down in any element of her life.
‘I saw Tina [Turner] when she was 69 in Christian Louboutins, running around the stage, full choreography, like a crazy person. And I thought to myself, “S**t”.
‘So now I have no excuse. I look at the greats and I wanna keep up,’ she exclaimed.
She aspires to be a “better parent, a better daughter, a better sister,” as well as a “better writer” in addition to being the greatest performer she can be.
‘And age works against you, right? But at 43, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. I could kick my 33-year-old a**.’
Have you ever met a more powerful woman?
